# Members API

> List, invite and remove team members programmatically

These endpoints let you manage your [team](/team) programmatically, so onboarding and offboarding can be automated from your identity or HR tooling.

All requests require an API key in the `X-API-Key` header. See [API Reference](/api-reference) for authentication and the standard `401` / `403` / `429` / `500` error shapes shared by every endpoint on this page.

<Note>
  **An API key acts as an admin.** It can invite admins and members, and remove members. Owners and admins can only be removed from [Settings → Team](https://autosana.ai/settings?tab=team).
</Note>

<Note>
  Members belong to your company, so they can reach every workspace in it. Removing someone takes away their access to all of them.
</Note>
