# Upload a Build

> Send a build from your computer to Autosana

Test a build you just made on Autosana's cloud devices, without leaving your editor.

## With your coding agent

Tell your coding agent (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.):

```
Upload my latest simulator build to Autosana
```

It finds the build and uploads it for you.

## With the CLI

After `autosana login`:

```bash theme={null}
autosana builds upload MyApp.app
```

Works with an iOS Simulator `.app`, an iOS `.ipa` for [real devices](/real-device-testing), and an Android `.apk` or `.aab`. Not sure which build you need? See [Building Your App](/app-build-guide).

<Warning>
  Xcode Archive builds are for real devices and won't run on the Simulator. Build for a Simulator destination instead.
</Warning>

## What an upload does

Either way, the upload becomes your app's active build, so runs that don't pin a build use it. It also starts the app's [CI/CD automations](/automations), which can start flow runs.
