~/.hermes/config.yaml with auth: oauth. The first time Hermes connects, it opens a browser so you can sign in. No API key goes in the file. Hermes stores the token under ~/.hermes/mcp-tokens/.
hermes mcp add --auth header writes Authorization: Bearer. Do not use that. --auth oauth writes the same block as below.
Setup
- Open Settings → Integrations → Hermes Agent and copy the config
- Open
~/.hermes/config.yaml. Ifmcp_serversis already there, add only theautosanaentry next to your other servers. If it is not, paste the whole block:
- Start Hermes, or run
/reload-mcpif it is already open. Sign in when the browser opens - Ask Hermes to list or run a flow
Do not use STDIO (
--command, npx, or mcp-remote). Autosana is not a local process. Adding Autosana in Cursor (mcp.json) does not install it in Hermes Agent.
